Vectora Transportation is an asset based, multi-modal third-party logistics provider specializing in the handling and transportation of wind energy components and other dimensional cargo. Our core competencies in project cargo logistics and rail enable us to economically deliver cargo undamaged, on time, and under budget. Furthermore, Vectora is capable of providing the capital, engineering, site development, operating expertise, railcar assets, and key partnerships.
Vectora Transportation's objective is to reduce costs by moving cargo by the most economical and efficent mode of transport, utilizing rail whenever possible. We achieve this by meeting three primary goals:
- Reducing transportation costs by shifting as much volume as possible to rail
- Enabling ease of use of rail by creating a one-stop, standardized, and turnkey interface for OEMs, freight forwarders, and developers; and
- Creating a rail-savvy and simplified conduit for Class I railroads to receive dimensional freight that is properly secured, billed, unitized, and managed, including relief from equipment storage and management and relief from the need to establish terminals, distribution centers, and loading/unloading operations.
